Cold Summer Night?
Usually on the weekends, I'm with my boyfriend and my two best friends, Zac and Shelby, out fishing or doing something else together. Well this past weekend was different. A few of Hunter's friends have been texting him asking to hang out with them for a long time, so last weekend we did. Before we went to grill out and ride four wheelers with them, we helped Hunter's dad burn some of the field at Ms. Fannie May's, who is a very very old lady who lives by herself down the road from Hunter. Before we could leave, two of our friends were going tom meet us at Ms. Fannie May's field. They had to go the back way since his truck couldn't go through the fence, well he ran over a stump and all you hear is this loud noise.. he had popped his brand new tire. So we take them back to the house and we load of the four wheelers and go down to the house we we're grilling out at. They boys were outside cooking and since our friends had just moved in, they didn't have their cable hooked so m and the other two girls played the Wii until it was time to eat. After we ate we got on the four wheelers and were ready to ride. Since its summer, people usually expect it to be a little warmer at night. Oh no, not tonight. It was so cold, but luckily Hunter made me take his hoodie and sweatpants for if I got cold because I guess he figured that I would. Now you gotta think about this, it's already kinda cool when you walk outside, but then when you get on a four-wheeler and your going at least 60 mph with nothing to keep you warm but the clothes on your back, it gets cold real quick. Even though I was freezing, we rode for awhile going through all sorts of trails and dirt roads. Then we came to this huge hill looking thing with ruts and holes and everything else you can think of. After climbing this monster hill on the four wheeler we rode up to the cabin, which Hunter and his dad had built a few years ago. After we left there we rode the four wheelers a little bit longer and decided to call it a day. The whole time I was freezing cold, but I just dealed with it and just kept riding. If there was one lesson that I learned this weekend, it would be always bring a sweatshirt and long pants to have while we're riding four wheelers.
Summertime Heat.
As everyone is well aware, this summer has been probably the hottest summers we've had in Alabama in years. With the humidity increasing every year, it has been so miserable to even walk outside. Even things that a lot of people enjoy in the summertime such as going to the lake or getting in the pool and grilling out weren't all that enjoyable because of the heat. It has even been to hot to have the windows down while your driving because it feels like your breathing in nothing but hot air. When I would wash my car, I would break a sweat before I had gotten any soap onto my car. Luckily, I didn't have to be out in the heat all day during the summer. I babysat during the day and worked at my other job, which was a tanning salon, at night. So being scorching hot sun, wasn't something that I had to go and do all day. On the other hand, my boyfriend does. He works for the Tallapoosa Logging Company and is in the heat 50 weeks out of the year, giving him a week off for Christmas and the Fourth of July. Because he has to wear long pants and boots to work, when he comes home he is usually drenched in sweat. But I know he is not the only one dealing with the heat all day. I feel bad for all the people that have to work out in the sun when it's almost 100 degrees outside and the humidity is ridiculous. I've even broke a sweat walking back and forth to classes. I like to wear shorts on the days that I only have one class but the other two days I have to come I have to wear jeans because when I'm in class or in the library doing my homework, I'm usually freezing. Then I walk outside to go to another class or to my var and I get hot all over again. Everybody loves to see summer come, but I think by the end of the summer everybody is ready for the cool weather that fall and winter brings.
What would you change about your highschool, if you were made principal?
Along with my best friend Jana, I went to the same private school since I was five years old. The largest the whole school ever got from K-12th grade was about 300 and some odd people. When I graduated, there was only about 200 and something people, 17 of which were graduating with me. I liked my principal and quite frankly wouldn't want to be a principal of any school, but if I were made president I wouldn't change a whole lot. The things I would change would be getting bigger lockers. I had such a hard time keeping all my books and binders organized in the small lockers we had, so after trying for so long, I finally just gave up. Half the time after each class I would just smush my books in my locker and get whatever book I needed for the next class and be done with it. Another thing I would change, would be another place for the cheerleaders to practice. Since I was a cheerleader from the time I started second grade all the way until I graduated, we always had a conflict with the other teams that needed to practice that time of the year such as the volleyball and basketball teams. I would also make a class required for juniors and seniors that teaches them about dealing with the real world such as handling money, family and all that. That's about all I would change because everything else at Edgewood was fine with me.

Decisions, Decisions.
I've been having a lot of trouble lately not only with school, but whether I'm in the right major or not. I've changed my mind so many times of what I wanted to major in and Pre-Physical Therapy was the last thing that I decided on. I mean, how do you know what you want to do for the rest of your life anyways? There's so many different jobs out there and I still have no idea what I want to be. I've thought long and hard about the whole Pre-Physical Therapy thing and after I signed up for that major at AUM, I really started to reconsider. It just doesn't seem like something that I would enjoy doing for the rest of my life. I mean this is a pretty big decision, it's not like your picking out what to have for lunch or something like that. The decision made for a major is kind of a big deal and I don't want to make the wrong choice only to find out that after going into it, I don't like it. I just don't understand how you know what you want to be or what you want to major in. Oh well, maybe it will come to me. If not, I guess I will spend a whole lot of time in college deciding what I want to major in.
Schedule
I've only been attending AUM for just a few short weeks, but I have already learned what to do differently next semester, such as my schedule. I'm taking 3 classes and a Biology lab one day a week. I'm taking 2 of those classes and the lab are on Tuesdays and Thursdays. On Mondays and Wednesdays, I only have one class. Therefore, it has became a pain in the butt to drive 45 minutes back and forth to Montgomery our days a week. On Tuesdays, I have a long break in between classes from 9:15 a.m. all the way to 3:35 p.m. In this break, I have ended up going to the Library or Goodwyn Hall to do my homework. I have been in Goodwyn hall many times doing by homework, but have learned that it is much easier to get distracted from all the people walking in and the doors opening and closing a half of a million times, so I have decided just to go to the Library until my best friend gets out of class at 10:40. Then we go get some lunch and then she leaves to go to a class at 12:45. That's when I return to the Library and do some more homework. I think next semester I'm going to try to get my classes on 2 days a week instead of having to go all 4 days.

Discourse Community
About a week ago, we learned in class about discourse community and the language that is used in each. We wrote a short essay about in class and that was about it with that subject. Well last night, I went to Millbrook with my boyfriend to meet me dad and brother at a Habeneros to grab something to eat and catch up since I haven't seen them in a little over a week. After that we went back to my dads house to just visit with him and since my brother's wife was out of town so he went with us. We stayed there for about 4 or 5 hours, just sitting around talking. During most of that time, I was just listening because it was very obvious I was not apart of their discourse community. My dad, brother and boyfriend were talking away about anything from fourwheeler parts, tractor parts, how they've fixed old trucks they've traded something else for, and every thing else they could think of. My boyfriend works for a logging company and he was showing pictures on his phone of some kind of part he broke last week. He tried showing me and telling me what it what, but it was like they were speaking a whole other language. I had no idea what they were talking about pretty much the whole time. I think I did catch some of the conversation and something about my boyfriend is going to get my brother a truck he wants to trade his mud truck for, or something like that. All the talk about trucks, parts, tractors, fourwheelers, and whatever else they were talking about was completely over my head. That is when the whole discourse community thing came into play and I realized that I was obviously not apart of it.

Another hobby.
If there's one thing I like to do at home, it would have to be baking. I absolutely love to bake things. Anything from cakes, cookies, brownies, pies and anything else I cant think of. I've finally started getting good at them, because for awhile they didn't always turn out like planned. This past summer, my mom wanted me to make my dad a cake for his birthday. I got to thinking and I decided to add food coloring to the batter and try to make the cake red. It was a yellow cake and mixed with a whole bottle of red food coloring, the cake turned out pink.. not just pink, but hot pink. I put the chocolate icing on it and put it in the cake holder and took it to my brothers. After we took dad out for his birthday, we went back to my brothers house and cut the cake. Everyone was a little shocked at the color of the cake and I was just sitting back laughing. I told them what had happened and that it was supposed to be red, not pink. My brother thinks I should give it up but that's not happening. I've had a number of experiences while I was attempting to bake, including accidentally setting my best friends house on fire. We were trying to make those sugar donuts that are at the Chinese restaurants, and with a little to much heat and grease, the whole back wall of the stove turned into s huge flame. We eventually put it out ourselves, but my best friend ended up with burn marks all up her arm from the pan we used and the back of the stove didn't turn out so good either. Needless to say, I love baking but it seems like I have more bad experiences than good. Although, I have made a lot of things that turned out like they were supposed to, without any destruction.
Animals!
I have a big heart when it comes to animals. As a result, we have 6 animals, 3 dogs and 3 cats, all of which stay outside of course. I have even talked my boyfriend into keeping a dog that showed up at his house not to long ago. For him that makes 3 dogs, one if which just had 2 puppies, and thirteen beagles that stay at the cabin for huntin' season. We have had a number of animals since I was little, most of them strays. They just show up and once I feed them they never leave and I can't say no. Four or five years ago I was at the ball park and someone was giving them away and said if nobody took the last one, they were just going to leave it there, and of course I couldn't let that happen. I brought it home and I have had him ever since. My other was also a stray, he showed up 2 summers ago and has stuck around ever since. About a month or two ago, my mom woke me up telling me there was a kitten out front but she said we couldn't keep it. After playing with it some of the day, I told mom we couldn't get rid of it and talked her into keeping it, which makes cat number 3. Throughout the years we have had many more cats, but they got to old and died. We have also have a number of dogs since I was little, but like I said earlier we only have three now. We have an American bulldog, a Cocker spaniel and a wired haired dachshund. We got Roxie, our American bulldog, from my brother's friend who breeds them. She's absolutely beautiful and we love having her around. Casey, the cocker spaniel, was given to my brother for Christmas from his girlfriend at the time, and they broke up about a year later. Needless to say, when he got married and moved out, Casey stayed here but she's also fun to have around. Then there's Shaggy, the wired haired dachshund, who we have had for a very long time and we got from the pound. He usually stays inside during the night because he is so old. He only likes my mom, dad, brother and I and growl and bark and everything else when somebody comes in so we have to put him up, but I do live that dog. I love my animals and could never give any of them away and I will continue to keep any that show up, if mom lets me of course.
Shopping.
One of my favorite things to do in my free time is to go shopping. I love to shop, plain and simple. Whether I'm shopping for myself or for my boyfriend or anybody else, I always love going. Sometimes I think I have a shopping problem because it seems like if I swipe that plastic card one time, I'll swipe it a million times. During the summer, I would go shopping all the time. If I'm just at the house, bored I will end up going shopping for a few hours. Now that I'm at school most of the time, I don't have a lot of time to go shopping, because I'm always busy with homework or in class. Although, on Friday's if I don't have any homework or anything to do, I think I will start going shopping again. Usually I'm out shopping with my best friend Jana or Shelby. I love to buy clothes, shoes, and anything else I find or that I need. Just last week, Jana and I went to the pet store and bought one of her dogs another outfit and a zebra print bow. I have three dogs and none of them will wear dog clothes, I like going with Jana to pick out clothes for her dogs. Out of anything I shop for, clothes would have to be my favorite thing to shop for because you can never have to many clothes. I love to shop and will probably be going again soon.

Texting.
Every day when I'm walking to my classes, I bet half the people I pass have a cell phone in their hand, texting. I can't say anything, because I am one of those people too. People now a days would almost have a heart attack if something happened to their precious cell phone, and again I can't say much about that either because I would probably flip if something were to happen to mine. Everywhere you turn somebody has a cell phone close by them. People are even using them while there driving and walking, which I have seen a number of people run into things because they are to concentrated on their phones. There have even been many wrecks caused by people using their cell phones. Texting has also gotten a lot of people into more trouble than they could have imagined, by sending inappropriate pictures and messages. But texting has helped many people out in certain situations. You know those awkward moments that feel like they last forever, what do people do? They pull out their cell phone and stay occupied until the awkward situation is gone. If there is one thing that texting causes, it would have to be drama. Someone says something to someone else and it gets spread all over school, which leads in some serious drama. Although it is a good way to keep in touch with people when you don't have a bunch of time you can give up just to talk on the phone. I personally, love my cell phone and texting. But there are times that I want to throw it out the window, with its constant vibrating and going off when I'm trying to do homework and anything else I'm trying to concentrate on. I think texting is good for every one who uses it, as long as it's not used for the wrong reasons and is doesn't get out of control.
Social Networking- Facebook
Between all the social networks that have been made over time, the most popular right now seem to be Facebook and Twitter. I personally, have a Facebook, which I use to keep up with friends and to get in touch with family and friends that I don't get to see that much or even get to talk to a lot. I also use it to keep in touch with classmates who have moved of and it is the only way to get a hold of them.
The only time I ever use it, is either when I have to be on the computer at home, when I'm in class, or I'm bored in between classes and I play around on it on my phone.
I think the whole social networking thing can be a good and a bad thing. It can be used for good for some people because it helps them to get in touch with classmates, friends and family who they haven't seen or talked to in years. It can be a bad thing for others because some will sit behind a computer screen all day and stay on some social networking site, looking at everybody else's profiles all day. Some use Facebook just to stir up drama and to see how much attention they can get. I think Facebook could help it friendships because if a friend or family member has moved away and that was the only way you could get in contact with them, could turn into meeting somewhere one day and having lunch and catching up with one another. I might also hurt them because instead of going and hanging out with friends and family, some will sit behind the screen. Overall I think Facebook is a good think to keep in contact with people but could also be a bad thing if it gets to addicting.

My Job.
For a little over a year now, I have been working at a tanning salon in Wetumpka. I love my job and most of the girls that work there, but I'm not all that crazy about my boss but I just deal with her. I've have met so many people just from working there, and most of the customers will sit down and have a conversation with me about what's going on with them or anything else before they tan. Most of the customers are so nice, but there are also some who just want to tan and leave without saying a word. I have also had to bite my tongue a few times with customers because there are some things at work that I'm not allowed to do, such as changing bulbs or opening the tanning beds and even some things on the computer. Some customers do not understand that and it causes a conflict between us. Usually when I'm trying to tell them that I can't or I'm not allowed to do some of the things are wanting me to do, they simply do not want to hear it and they just go on there merry way all mad about something that I have no control over. I also work with probably the sweetest people I have ever worked with. My manager and I are probably the closest out of anybody there. I can tell her anything and we always have long conversations when I see her. She's almost like my second mother to me and she's always there to back me up. She has two kids, one of which works with me, and he other one comes in sometimes to talk to me for a little bit. The others I see every now and then and I always make sure that I talk to them before I leave. About this time last year, I was able to get one of my really good friends to work there so I also get to talk to her a lot. There is a few girls that I don't get along with so I usually just stay away from them. But the girls that I do get along with, are so sweet and help me out or fill in for me anytime I need them. Working there has been quite and experience but I wouldn't trade it for anything. I love the people that come into to work and also the ones that I work with!
My hometown.
I was stuck on ideas to write about, so I Googled some topics. One of the things I saw was "Your Hometown", therefore I'm going to write about my hometown.
I grew up in a neighborhood in Wetumpka, Alabama, in the same house my mom grew up in. With only a few kids living in the neighborhood, I spent most of my time at their houses. All the parents got along and knew each other very well, so there was never a problem with all the kids playing together at each other's house. Even though, all of those friends moved away and I'm still living in the same house, I still talk to them every now and then. My hometown itself, is a pretty small town, not as small as others but is small enough t o know a good bit if the people in the community. Although the school I went to was a few miles out of Wetumpka, I still knew a lot of the people that went to Wetumpka. I also came to know a lot of people through city league baseball and softball when my brother and I played. Every year I had somebody on my team that I had played with before. I like my hometown especially because not only do I know a lot of the people, but there it also things every year such as the Christmas parade, pageants, New Years' Eve festivities and so many more things that the whole community got together for. A lot of people couldn't wait to get away from the small town of Wetumpka, but I on the other hand, don't want to leave my hometown where all my friends and family live.

Baby Birds
Ever since I started kindergarten thirteen years ago, I have had the same bestfriend. Her name is Jana Chrietzberg and usually you can find her with me most all of the time at school. Well we've been getting into trouble together ever since we have known each other. When we were about seven or eight, Jana was at my house one day and we decided to play outside. We went across the street and was playing in my neighbors yard and we heard something coming from the bushes. We went to look to see what it was and it was 2 baby birds in their nest. We decided to take them out of the nest and "take care of them." When Jana's mom came to pick her up, she snuck her baby bird in her bag or something and took it home with her. I still had mine, and I found and old art box from school and I put the baby bird in there. Well I kept the baby bird for a few days when I decided to let it go and I thought it's mom would come find it and take it back. Well after i talked to Jana, she had already told her sisters that she had a baby bird and they told her that the mom won't have anything to o woth it if a human touched it. So I have no idea where that baby bird went or if it even survived. I don't know what Jana id with hers but I know her parents ended up finding out and I guess they took care of it or did something with it. My parents, on the other hand, to this day still don't know about it. So hopefully, both of the baby birds made it and we learned not to ever take baby birds from its nest. That is just one of many stories we have from us growing up and getting into trouble.

My car & the luck it brings with it!
When I turned 16, for my birthday my parents bought me a 2007 jet black toyota corolla. Oh how I fell in love with it the first time I saw it. I have loved this car since I got it, but I seem to have the worst luck in it. Since the softball season was over, I was in athletics for 7th period. The last day of my sophomore year, I was supposed to be meeting my best friend at SnoBiz after I got out of school. At the beginning of 7th period m y principal told me and a few friends we could go ahead and leave since it was our last day. All xcited that I was done with school, I flew outta the parking lot going way to fast and of course, the gravel took a hold of my tires and under the change linked fence I went. I actually think I went over it, threw it, under it and anythiing else you can think of. When I finally decided to come to my senses and put my foot on the brake and not the gas, I stopped. I got out and looked at my once beautiful car. It looked like it had gotten in a fight with a tiger, and lost. It had scratches on the hood, on the top, on the trunk, and on both sides. I was devastated. Luckily my brother was home, so I called him and told him what happened and that he needed to come get me. Well after my parents got home, I had to take my poor car to the shop to see what could and couldn't be fixed. Later that week, I had to take it to the insurance company to get a estimate of how much they would be covering. The first week of summer I was without a car, that was not a way I wanted to staart off my summer. My car took quite a beating, but after a week it was almost as good as new. But there is still one scratch going down the driver side door that they couldn't buff out. Well after the fence and car were payed for, I was very careful when I was driving.
The summer of my junior year, I was working at the front desk at The Tire Center. One day I was running as few errands for my boss, and right in the middle of the intersection, my car shuts off. Freaking out, I called my boss and told him what was wrong. I finally got it to start up again, and I made it safelt made it back to work. The day it did the same thing, so I got the boys at work to look at it and nothing looked messed up or out of place. After shutting off on me a few more times, I took it to Mark's Service Center, where my car always goes when I mess it up, and got them to look at it. They ended up having to send it off to Toyota in Montgomery, where they found that the computer senser had gone out. After another week without my car, I finally got it back. Dad was a little mad about having to pay for it, but this time it wasn'y my fault.
About a year after that, April 27 of this year to be exact, we got out of school around 12:30 because of bad weather. My bestfriend and I always pull out of the school at the same time but she always goes first. Well that day, I decided that I was going to go first. Not even a mile after I pulled out, I heard something hit my car. I kept hearing this loud thumping noise so I pulled into a gas station.. my tire was flat. My best friend called me and asked what happened because she saw me pull into a gas station that I never go to and she asked if I needed her to come pick me up. Thinking my tire wasn't all that bad, I said no and continued to drive my car home because my house was not but a few miles down the road. The noise kept getting louder and louder, so I decided to pull into the next gas station, which was right next to The Tire Center so I figured my old boss could fix it real quick and I could get out of there since the weather was getting pretty bad. They close at noon on Wednesday's and I had forgotten them closing early. After I discovered they were closed, I called my bestfriend and she came back to get me and took me to Mark's Service Center. I talked to the man who always works on my car and he sent his tower to go and get it. Since I rode on it so long, they ended up having to order a new tire and a new wheel from toyota. A few days later, I finally got it back.
I do love my car, but it has given me the worst luck.. hopefully I won't have any more major trouble with it.

Cheerleading
Ever since I really young, I have always wanted to be a cheerleader. From the time I was about six years old I was always in some kind of tumbling or gymnastics class. When I was in the first or second grade my mom signed me up for the little termite cheer team at my school. Ever since then I have been in love with cheering. After termite's, I went to the peewee squad and after that I tried out for junior varsity and made it. Although there were so many more hot summer practices, it was so much fun and I loved going to them. We also went to cheer camp for a week every summer. My last year on JV, I was selected as captain. There were many responsibilities that I had to make sure all were done, but I enjoyed it. After my JV years were over, I tried out for the Varsity squad and also made it. I was selected as captain again my senior year and it also had its share of responsibilities as well, but it got easier along the way. Being on varsity was probably the most fun I've ever had while cheering, although I did grow to despise summer practices. Besides practicing in a gym with no air conditioner, the pep rallies, cheer camp, football & basketball games were all so much fun. Football season was my favorite. Before every Friday night football game, all the girls on the squad would go out to eat and go back to one of the girls house and get ready for the game. After making it to state every year that I was on Varsity, we made sure to make my last year the best, and it definitely was. We won the state championship my sophomore year and then again my senior year. After our football season was over, there was the all star football game. Senior cheerleaders were selected at cheer camp and the football players were selected through out the year. I was so nervous going in for all star practice because I was the cheerleader fro my school. But after the game and practices were over I realized that was the most fun I have ever had while I was cheering. After all of that was over we jumped right into basketball, which is not as much fun. Basketball season seemed like it lasted forever. The games feel like there so much longer and we had to cheer for both the girls and the boys. After that season was over we also had an all star game for basketball, which was fun too. I hate to see my cheerleading career come to an end as I watched the upcoming girls tryout for the next years squad, but I knew it would have to happen one day. I went this past summer to watch the new Varsity squad compete at camp. As I was congratulating all the girls after their competition, it was then I realized how much I missed it. I don't miss a lot about high school but if I were have to pick something I missed it would definitely have to be cheerleading.
Math Class
All my classes that I am taking this semester are a lot different than high school, but I think I am starting to get used to them, except for my math class. I have never in my whole life been good in math, but I was recommended to take Pre-Calculus with Trigonometry this semester. I was dreading this class ever since I was registered for it. My first day of that class, I walked in with my friend Ashley an parked myself in a seat. When the teacher walked in, he went straight to the board and wrote our homework assignments down. He began teaching and as I was trying to pay attention I kept thinking to myself that I had no idea what was going on. He said that all of what he was doing should be very easy and should be review. I had never seen most of it in my life. When the class finally ended and I made it home, I figured I would start on my homework. I tried to do as many as I could, but I just couldn't figure out where do start and what to do. My boyfriend finally made it to the house after work, and he offered to help. He helped me with most of them but even he couldn't figure out some of them. The next day I came home from my one class I had that day and tried it again. The following day was Thursday, which meant math class. So in between classes, I sat at a table in Goodwyn Hall and tried it again. I ended up just staring at the paper and watching everything else that was going on around me. As 3:20 p.m. rolled around, I made my way up to math class again. Before he started teaching I decided to ask him questions about the homework and I actually started to understand it. He started the class and this time I thought it would be a good idea if I asked questions when I started getting lost again. After the class had ended I felt a lot better about the homework and about the class, but it is still going to take a little bit of getting used to.

Random Blog
Every Friday and Saturday night you will find me on a boat, bowfishing with my boyfriend, Hunter, and my two bestfriends, Shelby and Zac. Since this past April, we have made it a tradition to go every weekend together. It 's so much fun and I always enjoy going. I can say that we have honestly had our fair share of bad luck. A few days after the tornado in Eclectic, the boys decided it would be a GREAT idea to go bowfishing that following weekend. With all of the trees, garbage and everything else that wasn't supposed to be in the lake had Shelby and I creeped out and we were ready to go by the time we hit the water. Not only could we not see, but the boat decided it was going to turn off and not crank back up. After a little while the boys finally got it fixed and we made it safely back to the boat ramp. We've seen Zac's dad get flipped out of the boat, snakes come way to close to our boat, alligator gar almost snapping my fingers off, and so many more. But there was another night of bad luck that started when we took my boyfriends boat and Zac's boat. After we got Zac in the water and his truck parked, Hunter was in his boat and I was supposed to back him down the ramp into the water. Little did he know I had never back a boat in the water. After having help from Shelby, we finally got Hunter in the water and as I parked his truck and we all hopped in the boats and went on to fish. A few hours into fishing BOTH boats start having problems. After all that got fixed and we get back to the boat ramp, it was probably around midnight. Both me and Shelby had to get up early the next morning and go to work. Well as were getting the truck, Hunter noticed that his trailor tire was flat, and I'm not talking about just needs a little more air, I'm talking about FLAT. Well, his dad needed his boat the next morning for fishing so we had to get that tire fixed. Luckily Zac had a mini air compressor in his truck but we needed something to fix the hole. Shelby and I then go all the way back to my house which is about fifteen minutes away to get some fix-a-flat out of my car. After finally making it back and getting thr fix-a-flat into the tire it starts working and we eventually made it back to the house. After looking at the tire for awhile, Hunter notice that it was a nail that had poked the tire of was either inside the tire. The tire was fine when we first got there, so I'm thinking i must have ran over it when I was parking his truck. Needless to say I don't back his truck in the water anymore. There are so many more expereices we have been through while bowfishing but yet we still go back every weekend.
AUM Classes & Teachers
This semester I'm only taking three classes and a lab. I've been to all of them except the biology lab which I will be going to today at 12:30. On Monday's and Wednesday's you will be able to find me in Biology 1010 from 10:50 to 12:05. Although I'm in a class with 79 more people, so far I'm enjoying the class. It has a lot of notes and vocabulary but that is the easiest way for me to learn it. The teacher is also very nice and offers help any time we need it. On Tuesday's and Thursday's, besides this class I have Pre-Calculus with Trigonometry. That would have to be my least favorite class. The teacher is nice but works at an extremely fast pace and it's hard to pick up on it. I didn't have a clue what he was talking about most of the class time. So I just tried to figure out what he was doing and keep up. We had math problems the first night and I had no idea what I was doing. So needless to say, I'm not looking forward to going to that class today or even having to go the rest of the semester. I have to take that class before I can do any other math class so I thought I might as well get it out of the way. On Thursday's at 12:30 I will be in my biology lab. Like I said before, I haven't been there yet and I really don't know what to expect. The teaching styles are a lot different than high school. There not any better or any worse there just different. Overall I'm liking all of my classes and teachers except for math.

Favorite movie of the summer.
I worked the entire summer so I didn't get a chance to go and see a movie. Although, I did go and watch a movie last fall. I went to go see Despicable Me and I absolutely loved it. It was one of the cutest movies I have seen. I liked the movie because it was funny and it was also very cute. It was also was one of those movies where at the end if it it had a message behind the story. The movie was about a villian named Gru who adopted 3 kids from an orphanage. At first was not wanting to keep them around but then things turned around and he changed his mind and kept his new family. Another villian had stolen a pyramid from Egypt and made the top headlines. In jealous envy, Gru wanted to make the headlines as well. After stealing a shrink ray with his new cookie robots and tiny evil diminions, he carried out his plan and the other villian had gotten a hold of it and stolen it. Battling between his evil plans, getting his shrink ray back and his new kids ballet practices, Gru finally gets it all together and is able to go to the moon like he had been wanting to do since he was a kid. Overall, I loved the movie and thought it was really well put together.
